August Empties and Favorites (Mini Review)

Hello hello! How's your week? Mine was a bit hectic, because I had to do so many things. Started with a governmental recruiting test (finally it's over and now I can payback my lack of sleep, woohoo), a visit from a best friend (we had shopping spree, thanks to her my wallet is empty now lol), and finished with a halalbihalal (kind of gathering) at my neighborhood.

This time I'm gonna share about my recently finished and favorite products for this month.

This gonna be a long post, I tried to explain a bit about each products, and maybe give them short reviews (or I should say first impressions).  Just leave a comment about what product I should review more briefly for next blogpost. Please keep reading :)

EMPTIES

Bath and Body Works Cashmere Glow Body Lotion, Mist & Shower Gel. Despite the fact that I must ordered them online (physical counters' price might be a lot more expensive, thanks to Indonesian customs and regulations), these definitely a love on first sight. I have dry skin, especially on my legs, so I need a very moisturizing shower gel/lotion, and these babies gave me exactly what I want! It even gave me more than 12-hours of moisture, Super Love! They also have super nice smell, sweet but not overwhelming peachy vanilla. I must repurchase these, but I want to try another variants, and Mango Mandarin looks promising since I love citrusy scent.. or maybe you have other suggestions?

Nivea UV Extra Whitening Serum with SPF 25 PA++. I got this from Beauty Treats July Box (review here). I found myself reaching for this (everyday) because of the nice smell and liquidy texture. It also already contains SPF so I did not have to wear sunscreen anymore. I finished this in two and a half weeks. Definitely repurchase this, maybe in bigger size.

Etude House Drawing Eye Brow AD in Dark Brown. Practical and easy to use for beginner like me, and it do not need to be sharpened. My current HG brow pencil.

Etude House Proof 10 Eye Liner in Black Water Shine. This is my current HG pencil liner and I want to repurchase it on another colors, but I think now I must finish my recently bought liquid eyeliner first. (talk about efficiency, lol)

Nivea Fruity Shine Cherry. This tinted lip balm has a good cherry scent and well moisturized my lips too, but I did not like the greasy and too-glossy finish.

Etude House Cherry Liptint in Cherry Red. It has a nice shade but it dries my lips. I am not going to repurchase this, but since I love lip tints, I think I want to try Tony Moly's or Lioele's. Do you have any suggestions what lip tints I should try?

Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship. I have long, fine straight hair (very fine e at the point it could not hold any styling more than 2 hours), so I always looking for volumizing shampoo. I try this because a friend told me Herbal Essences will volumize your hair, not like Pantene, my old shampoo.

FAVORITES

the Balm Instain Blush in SwissdotI bought this blush on early August, and it instantly became my favorite! The color is wuper pretty and the pigmentation is beyond words!

Brown Bear Compact Mirror. Cute, no?

Etude House Breath Mist in Peach. I love the smell and I love having my mouth smells like peach.

Hada Labo Shirojyun Starter Pack (Face Wash, Lotion and Milk). I bought these at first week of August, and after couple of weeks, my skin feels smoother and looks brighter... and it did not break me out.

Skinfood Buckwheat Loose Powder in Transparent (review here). I will always love this.

Sariayu Putih Langsat Lulur Spa 2 in 1. At first I purchased this because of the smell (citrus of course), but after several uses I found it really brightens and evens out my skin tone.

Revlon Lip Conditioner. Despite of its unpleasant chemically smell, this lip conditioner really helps smoothen my cracked lips. I use this every night before I go to bed, to avoid any nausea because of the omg-what-is-this-smell-made-me-want-to-puke feeling.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Sandalwood Beige. We all know the quality of Revlon lipsticks, right? And this is one of my favorite, it has a really pretty brown-coral shade. Love!

Maybelline Baby Lips. It moisturizes my lips and tastes like an orange. Double win.

Koji Brow Pencil. I also got this from Beauty Treats July Box (review here). I use this as a temporary replacement for my -already-finished fave brow pencil (Etude House Drawing Eye Brow AD). I do not really like the type of pencil that needs to be sharpened, but I think I'm going to stick with this until I purchased another Etude's.

Bath and Body Works Pocketbac in Sugar Lemon Fizz. Smells sweet but still fresh, this does not make my hands dry like another hand sanitizer.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Blotting Paper. Smells good and does not tear easily.

How about you? What are your favorite makeup products for this month?
Enjoy your weekend!
