I have small eyes and to make them popped out, wearing eyeliner will always be a part of my makeup routine. First eyeliners I have are pencils, and despite the fact that they are really easy to use, sometimes I just need more drama for my eyes....and it means that I need some liquid eyeliners. Afraid of getting difficulties using them, I decided to try cheaper liquid eyeliners. After doing some research, I bought one of Etude House's cheapest eyeliners: Oh m'Eye Line in black.

Hello hello! How's your week? Mine was a bit hectic, because I had to do so many things. Started with a governmental recruiting test (finally it's over and now I can payback my lack of sleep, woohoo), a visit from a best friend (we had shopping spree, thanks to her my wallet is empty now lol), and finished with a halalbihalal (kind of gathering) at my neighborhood.

This time I'm gonna share about my recently finished and favorite products for this month.

REVIEW: NYX Felt Tip Liner in Extreme Black

Another eyeliner review! Now it's time for NYX Felt Tip Liner in Extreme Black. Comes with a felt tip, it's indeed a life safer for shaky handed girls like me, who often find difficulties to draw a perfect line. 

NYX is one of my favorite USA drugstore brands. With affordable price, their product (almost) never fail to impress me. So, how about this eyeliner? Let's see.

REVIEW: e.l.f Essential Brightening Eye Color in Drama

In terms of eye makeup, I think there isn't anything sexier and more sophisticated than the classic smoky eye look. That's why I want to try that. I’m still learning how to make a smoky eye, so I think I’ll purchase this little quad, e.l.f Essential Brightening Eye Color (in Drama), that I'm going to review now. It’s really really cheap so I won’t think twice to use this as much as I want to practice the smoky looks…lol.

Smoky eye. Makeup look ini kayaknya emang udah jadi statement, sexy and sophisticated at the same time. Aku pengeeen banget bisa smoky eye maka dari itu aku pengen belajar gimana cara ngaplikasiinnya. REVIEW: e.l.f Studio Makeup Remover Pen

Because of my shaking hands, when using eyeliner I often ruining the line with uneven lines or smudges along my eyelids. Using one makeup remover wipe per mistake is too bothersome, so I usually use cotton bud (q-tip) that dabbed with makeup remover. Actually I found it kinda difficult and unpractical when I'm in a rush. So, after some research I decided to buy this product: e.l.f Studio Makeup Remover Pen.

Tanganku lumayan sering gemeter jadi kalo pake eyeliner suka morat-marit gitu, hehe. Apalagi kalo bikin winged eyeliner. Today I'm gonna share my Beauty Treats Indonesia July Box, Gold Edition.

Actually I'm kinda disappointed with their last month box, but I already subscribed them until next month (sigh) And now I just heard that they'll take a break next month, what??? Then how the hell is my August box that I already subscribed? If you read my post about their June box, you probably know that my email to them wasn't replied yet (and I of course wrote the email as nice as possible, used polite words etc etc), so it's kinda traumatic for me to send them emails again, asking about my August box.

Sebenernya sih sempet kecewa sama isi box bulan lalu, tapi karena udah terlanjur subscribe sampe bulan depan yah...apa boleh buat. Tapi yang bikin aku kaget, tiba-tiba si BTI bilang kalo bulan depan mereka bakal off sebulan buat nyiapin September box, yang katanya bakal punya konsep baru. Lah terus nasib August box yang udah terlanjur saya bayar gimana dong? Mau ngirim email nanyain tentang hal itu tapi kok semacem trauma gitu ya, karena seperti yang udah aku sebutin di post about my BTI June, aku pernah ngirim email ke mereka tapi belum dibales sampe sekarang :(

REVIEW: Skinfood Buckwheat Loose Powder in Transparent

Good afternoon belles!
Today the sun above my city shines so brightly. When in a day like this, I always sweating and thus I suddenly become very addicted to touch up my makeup. Because my daily makeup only consist of eyeliner, brow, tinted lip balm and powder, I need a good powder that could help me reducing the needs of blotting my face. I am a fan of loose powders, and my current holy grail is the one from Skinfood, Buckwheat Loose Powder, that I am going to review now. This loose powder have four variant of shades: Transparent, Skin Beige, Natural Beige and Lavender. I own the transparent one.

Hari ini matahari di atas Surabaya kayaknya lagi happy, terik banget sinarnya, hehe.. Di hari-hari seperti ini, karena aku orang yang lumayan gampang keringetan, aku juga mendadak jadi suka touch up, padahal sehari-hari cuma pakai bedak, eyeliner sama brow liner kalo lagi nggak males, dan lipbalm, hehehe... Buat bedak aku lebih suka pakai yang bentuknya tabur, dan favoritku saat ini adalah Skinfood Buckwheat Loose Powder, yang akan aku review kali ini. Bedak ini sendiri punya 4 macam warna, Skin Beige, Natural Beige, Lavender dan Transparent. Aku beli bedak ini lewat online shop dan karena itu nggak bisa lihat langsung dan takut kalau warnanya nggak cocok di aku, jadi pilih yang Transparent deh.

Today I am going to review one of Indonesian local products from Martha Tilaar, PAC Make Up Pencil in Brown. As a beginner, for daily use I prefer pencil liners to liquid or gel one. This is my first brown liner ever. I recently got it from my auntie.

Aku lebih suka pakai eyeliner pensil, karena aku masih belum bisa pakai yang bentuknya cair atau gel, hehe.. REVIEW: Etude House Mini Brow Class - 3rd Class: Drawing Guide

As a beginner in makeup world, I often feel really hard to draw and even decide the right shape of my brows... but thank God I recently found that Etude House has released their newest brow products, Mini Brow Class.

Etude House Mini Brow Class comes in 3 classes: The Shaping Guide, Cutting Scissors and Drawing Guide. Because I'm still afraid to plucking my brows so I only bought the 3rd Class: Drawing Guide.

This lip gloss comes in a simple packaging like other TBS products. It has tube type applicator, hygienic enough to applied straight to the lips. Contains 12 ml (0.4 fl oz) and you can get it at IDR 79.000 or about USD 8. This lip gloss has a slightly artificial peach scent, but I love it.

This lip gloss is rather sticky and therefore I found it difficult to be applied evenly. But thank God it gives me a sheer glossy finish, because I just do not like my lips looking so glossy. About the staying power, this lip gloss stays about 3 hours on my lips without eating or drinking.

My overall opinion...

I do not like the texture and I think the price tag is a bit over the top, but it smells nice (I love peach) and gives me natural glossy finish (also don't forget that TBS products are animal cruelty free) so... I think it worth enough to try if you're a peach lover and looking for environmental-friendly products.

Today I wanna share about Beauty Treats Indonesia June Box (Gold Edition) that I recently got. 

First thing first, this month box comes really late! I even emailed them about the late shipment, I was afraid whether I received my box or not, but unfortunately they did not reply my email, at all. Sigh, poor customer service is such a turn off for me...

Now lets take a look to this beauty box.

First Impression...

Well, it's a little bit.....boring. Sorry to say, but the white cardboard box looked cheap. But the idea of gold ribbon is sure a nice touch.

As you can see from table above, this beauty box is (still) worth the price. With only IDR 95.000 you'd get products worth more than IDR 120.000.

My overall opinion...

Well, it consists of 4 full size products and 1 sample size, but how could it be so empty...? Compared to  their previous boxes, it's really really disappointing. And thanks to the late shipping, to me this box become a July, not June box.
Full size makeup tools sure are nice for a beginner like me. How about the mask? I've tried Lioele Red Ginseng mask before. And the eye shadow... oh well, I'm not a fan of Wardah' products. I know from the catalog, there are two options from Wardah : eye shadow or blush. Again, if I could choose, I prefer blush than eye shadow, but with this eye shadow I think I'll give a chance to this brand.
I've been subscribed to BTI since the first box and I am a quite loyal customer, so I hope they can be better than this, or at least get back to their old self... ^^
